Dr. Richard Hajjar is a board-certified cardiologist specializing in Interventional Cardiology. He began his medical education at DePauw University, receiving his undergraduate degree in biochemistry. He continued his pursuit in medicine and completed his Doctor of Medicine degree at St. George’s University School of Medicine. Dr. Hajjar previously completed his internal medicine residency and served as Chief Resident at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School.
Dr. Hajjar fellowships were in Cardiovascular Disease at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, where he served as Chief Fellow, and Interventional Cardiology at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.
Dr. Hajjar is an active member and fellow of the American College of Cardiology (ACC) and Society of Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions (SCAI). He has been published in many peer-reviewed journals and books and has presented at numerous medical and scientific conferences nationwide.
Dr. Hajjar was born in Ridgewood, NJ and is happy to have returned home to serve his community.
